At VS we ♥ Lee Broom.
We have had our eye on him for a while and his recent Elle Decoration award for best new UK designer was definitely justified. Broom’s versatile and original collections have solidified him as one of London’s brightest new interior designers. Having trained with Vivienne Westwood and graduating from Central St. Martin’s we always knew he was one to watch.
Following the success of Broom’s recent pop-up store inside Bluebird, he is now set to launch his debut upholstery collection ‘Salon’ which will be launching at The London Design Festival.
Consisting of six furniture pieces, the new Salon collection features a contemporary take on 1930’s upholstery. Each piece will be contrasted and accentuated with modern stud detailing, traditionally used in upholstery to hide elements of the manufacturing process. The finished result is a polished, contemporary furniture range that echoes the iconic designs of luxury fashion accessories and punk rock couture.
As well as checking out his forthcoming collection don’t forget to check out his previous collections, the decadent Decanter range is our personal favourite.
